The Committee on Committees and Rules

The Committee on Committees and Rules appoints the chairman and members of all special and standing committees and continuously evaluates and proposes changes in the rules of the Academic Senate. Its members are elected and include the Vice Chair of the Academic Senate ex officio. (Faculty Handbook , Jan. 2002, Part I, p.35.)

Members of this committee are elected by the Senate for two-year terms and may serve no more than three consecutive terms. The Chair is elected by members of the committee and must be a member of the Senate.

The date shown in parentheses is the year in which the committee member was first elected.
