The Committee on Faculty Manuals prepares manuals for approval by the Academic Senate. (The Catholic University of America Faculty Handbook; January 2002, Part 1, p. 35.) It reviews existing manuals for anachronisms, inaccuracies or inconsistencies and brings these to the attention of the Senate for its consideration.
